What you’ll do

• Develop and launch secure, scalable cloud architectures using Azure services.
• Build and manage Azure landing zones to enable flawless cloud deployments.
• Apply tagging policies to support resource optimization and cost management.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to integrate DevSecOps practices into cloud solutions.
• Provide strategic cloud advisory services to client leadership, including VP-level partners, to address evolving business needs.
• Lead architectural strategies for large-scale projects such as data center migrations, mergers and acquisitions, and infrastructure standardization.
• Develop and implement a Cloud Center of Excellence to guide cloud transformation efforts.
• Mentor and empower teams of architects and cloud engineers to deliver world-class solutions that are aligned with business goals.

What you bring to the role

• Proven expertise in data center operations and networking.
• High-level of competency with Azure cloud services, including crafting and managing landing zones.
• Well-equipped in implementing tagging strategies for efficient resource management.
• Detailed understanding of DevSecOps principles and integrations into cloud ecosystems.
• Skilled in leading architectural strategies and guiding senior leaders on cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Resourceful in providing problem resolutions and proficient in articulating technical concepts clearly.
• Proficiency with large-scale cloud transformation projects, including mergers, acquisitions, and operational automation (e.g., AIOps).
• Seasoned in developing and encouraging a Cloud Center of Excellence framework.
• In tune with emerging trends in cloud infrastructure and hybrid environments.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto, ON.
