What you’ll do
Lead the support team in day-to-day execution and sustainment of the following key functions:
Subject matter expert services and operational support for:
All areas of the PartsWatch POS system, and Nexpart services for Partsource
Kronos timekeeping system and select payroll activities
Bell call center to support the special orders initiative
Coordinate project planning and delivery with the IT and the project teams for
PartsWatch and Kronos enhancements/rollouts, including:
Functional Specification Documentation reviews
Consultation and system configuration
UAT planning and execution
Ensure that the field and home-office & cross-functional teams are supported in the related area of expertise
Timely processing of PartSource claimsCoordinate with the team manager on:
Strategic direction and process development/enhancements
Maintain and contribute to Product Backlog for system enhancements and new features required to support PartSource stores and Business
Mid-to-long-term planning, objective setting, review, and evaluation
Growth and development plans of the support team
Assess and manage resource allocation between support and IT project work, and proactively call out resource constraints when identified
Monitor completion of tasks against defined timelines and flag risks for management action as required; providing insight, team support, and recommendations to mitigate and address risks / issues
Clearly communicate problems, ideas, and concepts (verbally and written) between business and technical parties. Advocate for supported products and maintain good stakeholder communication
Act as change agent, challenge the status quo, and evolve team processes to enhance overall effectiveness
Ensure due diligence and approvals for both project and sustaining changes/updates as required
Assume other associate manager accountabilities within the broader team as required to meet business needs (i.e. Product Management/Product Owner support for key initiatives/feature development)
What you bring
Minimum 5+ years of combined experience in retail operations and IT project delivery
Minimum 3 years of retail operations and management experience
Previous PartSource store experience considered a strong asset
Extensive experience is using the PartsWatch POS including firm understanding of its multi-layered functionality
Minimum 3 years of experience working with IT and business teams on application deployment and release upgrade projects
Experience working with Enterprise Incident Management teams focused on priority problem resolution considered an asset
Excellent understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle, with focus on user acceptance testing requirements
A degree or diploma in a related field
