As Assistant Vice-President, Employee & Family Assistance Program (EFAP), you will be an integral part of a collaborative team focused on delivering seamless services and programs to our clients and customers. What you’ll be doing:
- Direct and support Clinical Managers, staff and associates, supporting and/or providing onboarding, training, coaching and performance evaluations
- Ensure effective case management, clinician supervision and compliance with key performance indicators (KPIs) such as response times, caseloads, service delays and client progress
- Work with internal teams on business strategies, service development and budgeting
- Support Sales and Marketing with client relations, customer meetings and the development of responses to RFPs and promotional materials related to EFAP
- Oversee documentation, case reviews and client communications while ensuring high service standards and regulatory adherence
- Monitor and manage regional cost metrics, staffing needs and service efficiencies to maintain budget and profitability targets
- Collaborate with internal teams, corporate customers and external partners to enhance service offerings and client satisfaction
- Facilitate the development of sustainable systems, products and processes that support excellent quality of service
- Support project requests, including providing periodic analysis of product and program development needs
- Conduct needs assessments for corporate customers and make recommendations for non-standard customer requests
- Collaborate with internal customers regarding inquiries (e.g., case review, formal referrals, workplace interventions)
- Provide expertise in clinical practices (counseling, proactive mental health care, case management, professional consultation)
- Make recommendations for the research and development of new product and service offerings
What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counselling or Psychology
- Registration in good standing with provincial governing body
- Professional registration related to EFAP, conflict resolution, mental health or organizational development preferred
- 8-10 years’ experience including minimum 3 years in a leadership role and 5 years’ in clinical counselling
- Expertise in brief solution-oriented counselling, knowledge of assessment, crisis management and previous EFAP services would be assets
- Strong people management, team-building, organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, French language skills would be an asset
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Change agent with exceptional interpersonal skills and customer service delivery
- Demonstrated ability to understand organizational structure, interpret needs and work effectively with key customer contacts
- Awareness and acknowledgement of the value of using measurement-based care when supporting patients/clients to help guide clinical decision making; experience an asset
