Adecco is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Representative to join our client’s team for a 3-month contract based in London, ON. This role will support high-volume accounts payable activities, including invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, and month-end accruals, while ensuring compliance with established financial policies and procedures. - Pay rate: $24/hour.
- Location: London, ON
- Shifts: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm
- Job type: 3-month contract | Full-time
- Hires fast, pays weekly.

- Process vendor invoices, including special payments such as rental agreements, ensuring adherence to Sofina’s financial policies and procedures
- Print and review all invoices from the AP general mailbox; follow up with internal teams and vendors to obtain required supporting documentation
- Complete accurate 3-way matching (invoice, purchase order, receipt)
- Implement and maintain a regular vendor account reconciliation process to prevent late payments and interest charges
- Maintain accurate and compliant vendor accounts in accordance with legal and company requirements
- Perform supplier reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and manage vendor relationships to maintain strong vendor standing
- Prepare and record month-end expense accruals for invoices not yet entered into the system, providing detailed documentation to the Controller
- Ensure compliance with corporate record retention policies by properly filing physical records and organizing annual document storage post-audit
- Communicate effectively with vendors to clarify accounts payable processes and resolve outstanding issues
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping and accounts payable experience in a similar environment
- Proven, hands-on accounts payable experience
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
