What makes you a great fit for this role?
You have experience managing complex workflows and deadlines and are comfortable working with an electronic manuscript submission and peer review platform. Your background includes preparing documents for publication (preliminary editing, formatting tables and figures, organizing text, editing reference lists, proofreading, desktop publishing), liaising with authors, and maintaining editorial standards within scholarly/medical/scientific publishing. You have participated in or facilitated meetings at the board level and have had success leveraging social media to increase engagement.

You Have:
- Managed submission and peer review processes using ScholarOne or worked with similar platforms
- Edited or formatted copy (text, reference lists, tables and figures) within Word, Adobe InCopy or InDesign
- Liaised with authors/clients to obtain outstanding items (files, permissions, legal forms, or licences)
- Developed or supported social media strategies to increase presence and engagement
- Generated reports and presented data to support editorial decision-making
