Adecco is currently hiring a full-time skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our client’s team. Our client is a fast-growing, innovative engineering and industrial projects organization specializing in electrical integration and manufacturing solutions. In this role should have extensive experience in electrical installations, mechanical and electrical integration, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. This role involves working on complex electrical systems, mentoring apprentices, and ensuring compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code.

  • Pay Rate: $80,000–$95000 Annually

  • Location: Coquitlam, BC

  • Shift: Monday to Friday

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Install electrical boxes, interior/exterior lighting, panels, fire systems, and related components

  • Install and bend rigid metal conduit

  • Install and ground cable trays

  • Pull cables and perform accurate wire terminations

  • Handle and install large electrical equipment, including transformers

  • Work proficiently with hand and power tools

  • Interpret and follow technical drawings and electrical schematics

  • Comply with all safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment

  • Work effectively with apprentices, providing mentorship and guidance

Qualifications

  • Journeyman Electrician certification (Red Seal preferred)

  • Experience with mechanical and electrical integration in metal-clad electrical buildings

  • Strong proficiency in bending and installing rigid metal conduit

  • Experience installing and grounding cable trays

  • Ability to pull cables and complete precise terminations

  • Experience working with large electrical equipment and transformers

  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics

  • Solid understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code

  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to mentor apprentices

  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all protocols

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
