Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced SCM (Supply Chain Management) Advisor to join our client’s team, managing the supply chain processes to ensure seamless procurement, distribution, and delivery of goods and services located in Calgary, AB. You will provide strategic insights, advise on best practices, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and process improvements in the supply chain.

  • Pay Rate: $50- $67/hr (based on experience)

  • Location: Calgary AB

  • Shift: Monday-Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm

  • Job type: Long Term | Full-time |4-month contract

Responsibilities:

  • Represent the entire SCM function to Regional Turnaround and BUPC stakeholders,

  • Ensure all SCM event deliverables are completed on time, in a quality manner,

  • Collaborate with stakeholders including Suppliers, Procurement and Materials Services to ensure materials and services are available on time for Execution and Construction,

  • Collaborate with SCM and Turnaround/BUPC stakeholders to develop solutions when on time material and service delivery is not an option,

  • Steward SCM performance to Business stakeholders,

  • Identify and manage event specific SCM risks,

  • Identify, support and drive strategies/initiatives to improve SCM service levels, efficiency and deliver cost and operational value,

  • Support Business stakeholders in building out longer term demand plans for upcoming events/projects to support Category Management/MSP Strategy and Commercial planning activities,

  • Champion Manage Goods & Services processes.

Qualifications:

  • Degree/ diploma in supply chain, Business or related field

  • 5 -10 years of Supply Chain experience in Oil & gas industry. 

  • Supply Chain Management & procurement experience in different areas including buying, contracts, inventory & master data management and ERP.

  • Excellent computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Power BI, S4 and Fieldglass,

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency,

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to build positive relationships across the organization,

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
