Adecco is currently hiring a full-time highly skilled and compassionate Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (WOC) Nurse Specialist to join our client’s health care team in the GTA region. In this role, you will provide expert clinical care and leadership in managing complex wounds, ostomies, and continence issues. You will collaborate with patients, families, and interprofessional teams to deliver evidence-based, individualized care plans that promote healing and improve quality of life. As a trusted resource and mentor, you will support nursing staff through education, consultation, and preceptorship, ensuring best practices are consistently applied across care settings.
Pay Rate: $51 - $53/hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive assessments for wounds, ostomies, and continence issues using best practice guidelines (Wounds Canada, RNAO, NSWOCC).
Develop and implement individualized care plans, including advanced wound therapies and ostomy management.
Provide direct care and consultative support to nursing teams, patients, and families.
Educate patients, caregivers, and interprofessional teams on wound, ostomy, and continence care.
Act as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff; participate in preceptorship and leadership activities.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuity of care.
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
Stay current with evidence-based practices and participate in continuing education.
Qualifications:
Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (or provincial equivalent
CNA Certification in Wound, Ostomy & Continence (WOCC(C)).
Membership in Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy & Continence Canada (NSWOCC).
Experience in community nursing or home care settings.
Advanced knowledge of wound healing, ostomy management, and continence care.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teaching abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
Completion of NSWOC Education Program or International Interprofessional Wound Care Course (IIWCC).
Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience, ideally in wound/ostomy/continence care.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
