Adecco is currently hiring a full-time reliable and skilled Forklift Operator to join our client’s warehouse team in Saint John, NB. In this role you will be responsible for handling materials efficiently and safely within the warehouse or factory environment. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada (Canadian citizens or permanent residents).

  • Pay Rate: $17.93/hour

  • Location: Saint John, NB

  • Shift: Monday to Thursday | 10-hour evening shifts 

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, pack, and unpack materials.

  • Label and sort incoming and outgoing shipments.

  • Relocate items within the warehouse or factory.

  • Operate a forklift, winch, or other machinery for transporting or shipping materials.

  • Track inventory of incoming and outgoing items accurately.

  • Handle and dispose of hazardous waste materials safely when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience or training in forklift operation; previous certifications are an asset

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Good digital processing skills for inventory tracking.

  • Strong organization and time management abilities.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work well under pressure.

  • High attention to detail.

  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely.

  • Knowledge of workplace safety standards and procedures

  • Successful completion of pre-employment screening, including drug testing, is required.

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada (Canadian citizens or permanent residents)
