Adecco is currently hiring a full-time reliable and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to join our client’s facilities team. In this role, you’ll ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. If you take pride in maintaining high standards and enjoy working independently, this position is for you.

  • Pay Rate:  $25.00/hour

  • Location: Gold River, B.C. (Tsa'Xana Reserve)

  • Shift: Monday to Friday | 31.5hours

  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Sweep and mop floors throughout the building.

  • Empty trash cans, waste containers, and outdoor bins.

  • Clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures.

  • Dust and clean office furnishings, including desks, shelves, equipment, computers, and copiers.

  • Keep walkways and stairways clear.

  • Perform general exterior cleaning (windows and doors).

  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.

  • Report any damages or non-functioning items that may require replacement or maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • Physically fit and able to perform cleaning tasks.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role (asset).

  • Responsible, dependable, and able to pass a vulnerable sector criminal check.

  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow health and safety protocols.

  • Vehicle is required (remote community)

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
