Are you an early-career professional with a passion for building restoration and a strong desire to grow within a collaborative, forward-thinking environment?

Adecco is actively seeking a Project Associate to join our client’s Building Restoration Consulting Team in Markham, ON. This full-time role offers the opportunity to support and deliver a variety of building restoration projects, work directly with clients and industry professionals, and develop your technical and consulting skills.

  • Pay Rate: $70k-$80k/year.

  • Location: Markham, ON

  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:  

  • Demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and a solutions-oriented mindset.

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, and other consultants.

  • Continue developing your expertise in building science, life cycle analysis, and costing while contributing insights and best practices to the team.

  • Assist with building evaluations, site reviews, and investigative work.

  • Contribute to project coordination and support project delivery efforts.

  • Prepare technical documents, including reports, drawings, and proposals.

  • Participate in client meetings and networking events.

  • Ensure communication flow among all project stakeholders.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:  

  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

  • A degree in Building Science, Restoration Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Eligible for or pursuing registration with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly and professionally.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team.

  • A commitment to learning, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

  • Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.

  • A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

  • Experience in consulting, construction, or building restoration is an asset but not required.
