The Role

We are looking for a talented and motivated Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of enterprise-grade applications supporting Global Banking & Markets. You will work under the guidance of a Senior Development Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly web applications. A strong focus on UI frameworks and component libraries is essential to ensure consistency, accessibility, and performance across our platforms.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Develop and maintain front-end components using Angular or React.
  • Leverage UI frameworks and design systems to build consistent, responsive, and accessible user interfaces.
  • Collaborate with designers and backend developers to implement seamless user experiences.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Assist in integrating front-end applications with backend services and APIs.
  • Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and agile ceremonies.
  • Continuously learn and apply best practices in front-end development and UI architecture.

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience in front-end development using Angular (v10+) and/or React (v16+).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience working with UI frameworks such as Material UI, Bootstrap, Ant Design, or similar.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern front-end tooling.
  • Experience with Git and agile development practices.
  • Test-driven development is essential.
  • Exposure to Salesforce integration or financial services applications.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience in any number of the following technologies is advantageous:
    - Cloud Technologies (Kubernetes, OpenShift)
    - Messaging Technologies (Kafka)
    - Database / Data Store / Data Query Technologies (SQL Server, Mongo, S3)
