- Accepting and responding to a high volume of calls and emails with various questions, inquiries, concerns regarding employee benefits, claims etc
- Providing information and educating on coverage, adds/removals, claims, payments and more
- Researching information to ensure accurate details are provided on either side; liaising between employee and insurance provider where required
- Escalate any issues that are unable to be resolved on the initial interaction and ensure follow up
- Ensure all verification documents, reports, etc are obtained and in the file; follow up where needed
- Preparing and issuing letters for various functions of the role
- Creating copies, filing and keeping documents organized at all times
- Assisting with the adjudication process; coordination and administration-wise
- Various data inputting and processing of information; changes, documentation/notes etc
- Additional related tasks as required.
Some of the required qualifications for the Bilingual Customer Service Representative job opening in Toronto, ON may include:
- At least 1 year experience in a call center setting; preference to those from insurance or related
- Bilingual - highly developed and clear English and French communication skills; oral and written
- Resourceful and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong technical skills in Word, Excel and Outlook and ability to learn new systems with ease
- High level of accuracy, detail and follow through
- A focused and driven independent worker while thriving in a team-based environment
