Bilingual Customer Service Representative job opening in Toronto, ON

Adecco Professional is actively recruiting for a permanent Bilingual Customer Service Representative position in Toronto, Ontario. The selected individual must be able to work in a flexible, fast paced environment, who can demonstrate a strong, positive and confidential employee experience both over the phone and through email communications and who brings a passionate work ethic! Note that this position will have you working Monday to Thursday, 8:30am – 5:30pm with occasional requests for hours on Fridays during the busy seasons. The worksite is in walking distance from a TTC subway station.

Some of the responsibilities for the Bilingual Customer Service Representative job opening in Toronto, ON may include but are not limited to:
 
  • Accepting and responding to a high volume of calls and emails with various questions, inquiries, concerns regarding employee benefits, claims etc
  • Providing information and educating on coverage, adds/removals, claims, payments and more
  • Researching information to ensure accurate details are provided on either side; liaising between employee and insurance provider where required
  • Escalate any issues that are unable to be resolved on the initial interaction and ensure follow up
  • Ensure all verification documents, reports, etc are obtained and in the file; follow up where needed
  • Preparing and issuing letters for various functions of the role
  • Creating copies, filing and keeping documents organized at all times
  • Assisting with the adjudication process; coordination and administration-wise
  • Various data inputting and processing of information; changes, documentation/notes etc
  • Additional related tasks as required.
 
Some of the required qualifications for the Bilingual Customer Service Representative job opening in Toronto, ON may include:
 
  • At least 1 year experience in a call center setting; preference to those from insurance or related
  • Bilingual - highly developed and clear English and French communication skills; oral and written
  • Resourceful and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong technical skills in Word, Excel and Outlook and ability to learn new systems with ease
  • High level of accuracy, detail and follow through
  • A focused and driven independent worker while thriving in a team-based environment
  • Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information
