Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated manager to join our Technology Risk Consulting (TRC) team. As a member of KPMG Canada’s cross-functional TRC practice, you will play a leadership role in enabling clients' cyber transformation journeys through advisory, service delivery, and strategic support.


What you will do

  • Lead and deliver services including IT control audits, SOC 1 / SOC 2 / SOC 3 assessments, cybersecurity reviews, infrastructure security assessments, and ISO evaluations
  • Review systems for adequacy of controls, security, operational considerations, and project governance
  • Advise on business process controls and risk mitigation strategies
  • Manage client relationships and lead engagement teams
  • Coach and mentor team members to support their development
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing through tool development and methodology enhancements
  • Identify and implement improvements in processes and procedures
  • Evaluate risks and controls across IT systems, applications, databases, and business processes

 


What you bring to the role

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in technology risk, IT audit, or related consulting
  • Completion of a post-secondary degree in a relevant field such as information systems, computer science, accounting, or business
  • Completion of one or more designations: CPA, CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CISM
  • Strong understanding of IT General Controls (ITGCs), business process controls, and controls-based audits
  • Experience testing controls in various IT environments
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or similar
  • Knowledge of frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001/27002, NIST, and COSO
  • Proven ability to manage projects, lead teams, and build client relationships
