TRAINING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
FOR BOOKING: PRESENTATIONS, SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS AND TRAINING/WORKSHOPS
The following comprises the Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”), which governs the booking of any presentation, speaking engagement, training or workshop session (each a “Session”) provided by Pride at Work Canada (“PaWC”):
- At the time of booking the Session, all information required to complete the online Booking Form must be provided.
- A Booking Fee, calculated at 10% of the total cost of the Session, shall be payable at the time of booking.
- Confirmation of the booking and details of the Session shall be sent to the email address provided on the online Booking Form once payment of the Booking Fee is received.
- PaWC may, in its absolute and sole discretion, cancel a Session upon the occurrence of any of the following events:
- Failure of the participants to arrive, or login, within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time of the Session;
- Cancellation of the Session by the participant within 48 hours of the scheduled start time of the Session; and
- A technical failure on the part of the participant.
- PaWC reserves the right to retain the Booking Fee in the event it cancels a Session pursuant to section 4 of these Terms.
- PaWC may, in its absolute and sole discretion, cancel or re-schedule a Session upon the occurrence of any of the following events where it impossible, impracticable, or unsafe for PaWC to provide the Session:
- War;
- Strikes or other labour activities;
- Threats or acts or terrorism;
- Riots or other forms of civil disorder;
- Any act, order, rule or regulation of any court, government agency or public authority;
- Acts of God;
- Absence of electrical power or other essential utility or service;
- Pandemic, epidemic or other health emergency;
- Failure of PaWC’s technical facilities or other technology required to be provided by PaWC; and
- Any similar cause beyond PaWC’s control.
- In the event that a Session is re-scheduled pursuant to section 6 of these Terms, PaWC will apply the Booking Fee to the re-scheduled Session.
- In the event that a Session is cancelled pursuant to section 6 of these Terms, and PaWC and the participant are unable to reschedule within fourteen (14) days of the initial Session date, PaWC will refund the Booking Fee.
- The cost of the Session less the remitted Booking Fee is payable within sixty (60) days of the date upon which the Session is provided.
- The cost for each Session shall be based on rates set by PaWC from time to time.
By checking the box at the end of the Booking Form, you confirm that you have read, acknowledge and agree to these Terms.
