SUMMARY

Our client is seeking a skilled Millwright to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, on an early afternoon shift (12 or 1pm starting) . This is a hands-on role focused on troubleshooting, equipment reliability, and maintaining optimal operational performance. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic setting and takes pride in keeping equipment running efficiently and safely.

 RESPONSIBILITIES

- Install, assemble, and align industrial machinery and production equipment

- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime

- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support repairs and installations

- Fabricate or modify mechanical components as required

- Support equipment upgrades, retrofits, and new machinery installations

- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety and quality standards

- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to improve equipment performance

- Mentor apprentices and contribute to team development and knowledge sharing

QUALIFICATIONS

- 433A Millwright license or equivalent experience

- 4+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment

- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

- Experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, and rotating equipment

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

- Welding and fabrication experience is considered an asset

- Strong work ethic with a team-oriented mindset

- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting, climbing, standing)

- Willingness to work overtime and occasional travel as required
