Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Forklift Operator to join our client’s fast-paced warehouse environment in Ajax, ON. This role is ideal for a safety-focused and reliable professional with strong forklift experience who thrives in a high-volume, team-oriented setting.

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods while maintaining quality, safety, and operational standards. You will play a key role in warehouse operations, ensuring accuracy, cleanliness, and strong communication across teams.

• Pay Rate: $25.00/hour

• Location: Ajax, ON

• Shift: Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 5:00pm

• Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Operate dual/quad forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment

• Handle materials safely in compliance with OSHA and company standards

• Complete daily safety inspections and checklists accurately

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment (clean-as-you-go practices)

• Lift up to 55 lbs consistently throughout the shift

• Support operations within a quality system aligned with SQF standards

• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers

• Build and maintain positive working relationships across teams

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment

• Minimum 2 years of forklift experience (certification or ability to obtain)

• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and transport packaging

• Knowledge of food safety standards and 5S lean principles (asset)

• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Commitment to safety, accuracy, and quality standards

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
