Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced and results-driven Project Lead – Construction Surveying to oversee and manage all aspects of surveying operations for construction projects for our client in Richmond Hill / GTA area.. In this role, you will be responsible for leading field teams, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of survey data, coordinating with clients and contractors, and ensuring project deliverables are completed on time and within scope. This role requires a strong background in construction surveying, leadership experience, and a passion for precision and quality in the field.

  • Pay Rate: $170K-$210K / year (based on experience)

  • Location: Richmond Hill, ON (GTA) (HYBRD)

  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management – Establish and nurture strong relationships with site superintendents and key stakeholders to ensure ongoing collaboration and client satisfaction.

  • Project Scope Definition – Translate project objectives into a clearly defined Scope of Work (SOW), breaking it down into actionable tasks for seamless execution.

  • Schedule & Time Management – Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, effectively coordinating resources and timelines to meet critical deadlines.

  • Cost Control & Budget Management – Monitor budgets, manage resources strategically, and optimize project costs while maximizing value delivery.

  • Quality Control & Compliance – Ensure all project outcomes meet or exceed quality expectations and adhere to industry standards and regulations.

  • Team Leadership & Oversight – Lead and support project teams by assigning responsibilities, tracking progress, and maintaining high performance throughout the project.

  • Communication & Coordination – Maintain consistent, transparent communication across teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure alignment at all stages.

  • Risk Identification & Mitigation – Anticipate project risks and implement proactive strategies to minimize impact and maintain project momentum.

  • Vendor & Subcontractor Oversight – Manage third-party contractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with scope, quality, and schedule expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field

  • 10+ years of experience in construction surveying, with experience in a leadership or supervisory role

  • Strong knowledge of construction layout, GPS/GNSS systems, total stations, and digital levels

  • Proficient in surveying software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Trimble Business Center

  • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed

  • Knowledge of local codes, regulations, and industry best practices

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
