We are seeking a skilled Process Automation and Process Mining Analyst to optimize our business operations through data-driven insights and automation solutions. This role involves analyzing existing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing automation tools to enhance productivity. The ideal candidate will leverage process mining techniques to uncover performance bottlenecks, recommend improvements, and design automated workflows. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in process mining software, and experience with automation platforms are essential. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience with Low Code Automation Tools, specifically Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate Cloud and Power Automate Desktop)
- 5+ years Experience with Azure and Power Platform Admin
- Proficiency with Python, JavaScript, Typescript, SQL, HTML, CSS
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Experience managing vendors and business stakeholders and eliciting requirements
- Experience providing inputs and consulting on strategy for process mining, monitoring and automation governance
- Experience acting as a thought leader, and participating and leading Community of Practice events and discussions
- Ability to identify patterns in solutions and intake for recommendations and contributions to the Center of Excellence for Digital Process Services
- Coordinate and facilitate technical workshops with stakeholders and support teams
- Experience working with SAP products an asset (Fiori, Ariba, Fieldglass, Signavio)
- Experience with SAP BTP Build automation an asset
Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing business processes to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and cost savings.
- Work with business stakeholders to gather and understand process requirements. Identify pain points and opportunities for process improvement through automation.
- Design end-to-end automated solutions that integrate with existing systems. Select appropriate automation tools and platforms that meet business needs.
- Lead the development and implementation of automation solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
- Implement monitoring and reporting mechanisms to track the performance and impact of automated processes, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Mentor and guide a team of developers, analysts, and other stakeholders involved in automation initiatives.
- Administer Microsoft Power Platform for citizen developers through security roles, DLP policies and environment segregation
- Lead and inform implementation of cyber and security rules cross-platform (CyberArk, Azure, Power Platform)
Location and other key details:
- You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.
- This is an office based role, hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
