We are seeking a highly-skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Strategy to join our diverse team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies that support the Marketing and Loblaw Brands functions to drive business growth, improve brand awareness, and enhance customer engagement. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in marketing, exceptional critical thinking skills, and the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams. This is an exciting opportunity to make an impact on our organization's marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Loblaw Marketing and Brands strategy aligned with the organization's business objectives

  • Collaborate with internal collaborators to define key Loblaw Marketing and Loblaw goals, objectives, and KPIs, ensuring alignment with broader business goals

  • Support the governance model of annual and multi-year plans including measures of success to monitor progress against key critical initiatives

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with overall business objectives

  • Consult with brand owners on brand strategies

  • Develop materials for executive-level updates regarding key critical initiatives as required

  • Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for growth and advise on business strategies

  • Become a trusted advisor to Loblaw Marketing and Brands leaders and their business partners

Role Requirements and Skills Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, and/or a related field of study

  • Proven experience in developing marketing strategies in CPG or consulting

  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret sophisticated data and insights to drive strategic decision-making

  • A strategic mentality with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement

  • Proven track record to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, encourage collaboration, and demonstrate results

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively articulate sophisticated ideas and influence partners at all levels of the organization

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines

  • Up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing trends, emerging technologies, and standard processes

  • Ability to thrive in a face paced environment with experience successfully navigating a sophisticated matrix organization

  • Inspire change, be confident, resilient and persistent
