The Freshwater Fisheries Team has an opportunity for an established and experienced Senior Fisheries Biologist in our Burnaby or Sidney, BC offices. The successful candidate will join our team of freshwater fisheries and aquatics biologists who value teamwork and enjoy the company of their colleagues.

Required experience in:
Experience in some or all the following is an asset:
Education and Experience
A bachelor’s degree in Biology is required and a master’s degree in Biology is preferred
Professional accreditation required (P.Bio, R.P.Bio)
Minimum of 10 years of experience as a fisheries biologist, with experience in freshwater systems in BC and Western Canada
Consulting experience is required
Electrofishing certificate is required
Other types of training are assets: H2S Alive, UTV
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather. Ability to lift and move items and equipment up to 50 lbs.
