Adecco is currently hiring a full-time motivated and detail-oriented Afternoon Assemblers to join our client’s manufacturing team in Mississauga, ON. In this role you will be responsible for performing a variety of mechanical and electronic assembly operations based on IPC and customer specifications. This role is a full-time position and requires the ability to work 40 hours weekly. This role also requires that you are legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

**As this role is subject to the Canadian Government's Controlled Goods Program (CGP) the qualifying applicants must possess Canadian Citizenship or permanent residency status. A work permit status is not eligible for this role.

• Pay Rate: $19.26/hour

• Location: Mississauga, ON

• Shift: Afternoon 3:00pm – 12:00am

Light Assembler Job responsibilities include: 

• Able to set up and calibrate mechanical assembly tools used in the assembly process

• Use hand tools such as screw drivers to assemble units according to product specification

• Able to perform a variety of mechanical and electronic assembly operations based on IPC and customer specifications

• Other tasks assigned by lead head/supervisor 

To qualify, you should: 

• Minimum of 6 months experience as an assembler, hand solder experience 

• Able to lift, carry and maneuver material or equipment (up to 35lbs)

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, consistently bending, and being able to pull carts

• Proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required

• You must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
