Responsibilities:
• The primary responsibilities of the Lead Control Systems Engineer will be to collaborate with project management and engineering staff to achieve project objectives, and perform relevant engineering work associated within the Petrochemical and/or Oil & Gas Upstream Industry.
• This position supports technical and project execution activities including development of Control Strategy documents, DCS/SIS system design, selection and procurement of plant instrumentation; development of design deliverables.
• Additionally, this position is involved in preparing project estimates, schedules, effort-hours and material forecasts to ensure consistency with engineering standards and operating principles; interfacing with internal and external clients as required for successful project execution.
• This position also supervises the detailed design activities and 3D Model Development of the Control Systems team and supervises preparation of construction deliverables like cable tray layouts, panel/building layouts, cable schedules, installation details, Instrument Index, Instrument Location Plans, Cable Schedules, Loop Diagrams and Termination Diagrams etc.
