Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Pharmacy Manager, the incumbent has strong business acumen skills and has a proven track record of delivering patient care services.

Primary Responsibilities
Liaise closely with pharmacy teams within the region to implement and support the delivery of patient care services .
Ensure consistency in the execution of pharmacy services and programs while achieving operational excellence in all areas of practice
Achieve or exceed planned financial results, patient safety objectives and foster an environment of continuous improvement.
Motivate, influence and encourage pharmacy colleagues to identify and incorporate best practices into the delivery of patient care.
Understand and positively influence the corporate pharmacy strategy through collaboration with the pharmacy manager and store team by identifying areas of opportunity.
Ability to travel between various pharmacy locations is required. Other duties as assigned.

Possesses a high degree of knowledge regarding provincial rules and legislations governing professional services model in Alberta
Performs patient focused services as deemed eligible and appropriate for patients
Provides professional advice and applicable dialogue with patients on prescription and OTC products to provide excellent customer service and maximize customer loyalty.
Promotes and monitors improved patient health outcomes
Improves and optimizes drug therapy
Accurate and timely claim submission and/or registration of all patient focused services performed.
Follow up on all patient interventions and identified drug related problems to ensure and document improved patient health outcomes.
Compliant with all company policies and procedures, professional standards and applicable laws and regulations
Maintains complete and accurate documentation as required by the various Colleges of Pharmacy, drugs plans (both public & private) as well as all Loblaw programs and SOP’s
Perform other duties as assigned to support Loblaw Pharmacy operations.
Ability to achieve results with a strong sense of urgency and a “can-do” attitude
Proficient computer skills including Kroll, Healthwatch, Microsoft, Teams, Zoom
Education & Job Knowledge
Bachelors, Masters, or Doctor in Pharmacy
Licensed Pharmacist in Alberta
Additional Prescribing Authorization (APA)
Commitment to obtain further certifications in Diabetes, Travel Health, Geriatric Care
Certificates, Licenses Or Registration
Must be a licensed Pharmacist in good standing in Alberta.
Must possess a valid drivers license, car, and willing to travel
