Lead cost analysis / modeling of indirect spend goods/services to identify new savings and optimization opportunities.
Lead the development of a procurement intelligence strategy to align information requirements to meet WMC objectives for strategic sourcing and spend tracking.
Lead demand management / spend visibility initiatives to drive total cost reduction as part of a defined category strategy.
Lead source-to-contract (S2C) process and template design for improvements to WMC eProcurement system (e.g., Ariba BuyIt system).
Lead the strategic sourcing project portfolio review process, including managing the strategic sourcing program management office (PMO), risk management and weekly/monthly performance review meetings.
Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to support budgeting process by integrating sourcing savings targets into financial plans and establish reporting and tracking mechanisms
Responsible for developing and leading a 3rd party management function, implement programs to manage vendor performance, delivery, and supplier innovations for all indirect spend categories ($2B) including KPI / performance metrics reporting of all contracts to deliver targeted P&L betterment over the next 3 years by helping to eliminate cost savings erosion and / or identify new savings opportunities.
Attract and Coach a Supplier Relationship Manager and Sourcing Excellence Manager and contribute to the development of the skills and knowledge by creating a learning and training environment, coaching and providing feedback, and career development. Provide guidance on negotiations and process practices to help support the manager’s contract and performance negotiations with suppliers.
