Are you up for the challenge and the fun?  If so, consider the following opportunity! We’re looking for a Part-time Anchor/Reporter at 660 NewsRadio Calgary!

  

What you will do… 

  • You will be a part of a dedicated and hard-working team that crafts and delivers newscasts on Calgary’s station for breaking news, weather and traffic!

  • You will anchor newscasts on 660 NewsRadio Calgary, and report from the field.

 

What you will bring… 

  • People rely on 660 NewsRadio now more than ever, so we need a dependable, smart, curious news machine who loves working in a team environment 

  • The successful candidate will have experience reading newscasts in a live environment, a background in reporting, and a honed newswriting style 

  • A desire to win 24-7; you will take ownership of the big local stories of the day.

  • You can roll with the speed and unpredictability of breaking news and thrive in an environment where no day is the same!  

  • People can count on you to bring your best every day and be a leader for the team 
     

 

​To protect our people, brand and assets, a pre-employment background check will be conducted. As part of our selection process, all candidates must clear a criminal background check. Additionally, a credit check and drivers abstract may be required depending on the role.
