Pride in Engineering
Pride in Engineering is a registered non-profit organization committed to inspiring, supporting and connecting 2SLGBTQIA+ professionals in engineering.
Along with events and fundraisers throughout the year, PIE hosts an annual event called the Pride in Engineering Conference & Gala. This is our largest event of the year and supports the three pillars of our organization:
- INSPIRE: We aim to inspire current 2SLGBTQIA+ engineers, engineering students, and future generations of engineers. We aim to do this by providing technical education and opportunities, as well as sharing stories of 2SLGBTQIA+ engineers!
- SUPPORT: We aim to provide resources and education to 2SLGBTQIA+ engineers and their allies. We aim to educate organizations who want to do better for their queer and trans employees!
- CONNECT: We aim to provide networking and mentorship opportunities for 2SLGBTQIA+ engineers and their allies. We aim to build a big global community as well as local communities of 2SLGBTQIA+ engineers and allies!
