Description de poste:
** This is a contract opportunity for the duration of 8 months **
Reporting to the Manager, Global Experience Design (XD) Strategy, the XD Strategy Specialist will work with teams globally (US, Asia, and Canada) to support activities related to the adoption and growth of user experience (UX) testing and measurement practices.
They will also support with general assessments of XD maturation across the organization to inform how we continue to develop the overall XD practice.
The specialist role aids Sun Life's regional XD teams to implement and standardize user testing, measurement, and reporting processes through hands-on coaching and guidance.
The successful candidate will rely on their strong understanding of XD to provide clear guidance on appropriate UX testing, measurement, and reporting practices that suit each region's unique needs and resources. Occasionally, the role may provide direct testing and measurement assistance to teams. The role sits within the global / corporate XD group in a team that works to advance XD maturity at Sun Life through XD strategy, design literacy, DesignOps, and design coaching. We share the goal of creating and advocating for data-driven, consistent approaches to XD at Sun Life and work to connect XD practices across the organization. Close collaborators include regional XD and business leaders and practitioners.
What will you do?
You draw on your experience and expertise with testing / measuring, analysis, and reporting on qualitative and quantitative UX, customer experience, and / or XD metrics to confidently provide guidance on adopting industry-standard methods
You think critically and strategically to not only identify challenges but also to collaboratively develop action-focused solutions
You communicate complex ideas with ease, and have a proven ability to adapt your methods of collaboration to suit the unique needs, knowledge, and strengths of your partners
You can successfully manage, communicate progress, and deliver on multiple projects in a high-paced and evolving environment
You are up to date on current digital UX related standards and trends
Consult with regional XD practitioners to coach and assist in the adoption, implementation, and advancement of user testing and XD measurement practices and support their integration into project workflows
Support the ongoing collection, analysis, and reporting of user experience metrics from Sun Life's regional XD practices
Leverage existing templates and guides and / or co-develop new assets as needed to support XD practitioners with XD testing, measurement, and outcome reporting
Build and maintain key relationships with stakeholders in US, Asia, and Canada to collaborate on measurement practice development and metric collection
Stay updated with other Global XD activities to identify opportunities for mutual development and regional support
Support ongoing XD practice assessments, including analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to generate clear and insightful reports, and supporting the development of strategic planning to advance regional XD practice maturity
Provide ad-hoc support of new or ongoing Global XD Strategy team initiatives, where appropriate. Examples include thought leadership community building events, digital resource development, and program development
Stay updated on industry trends, digital technology, and advancements to ensure Sun Life provides best-in-class services for our customers
What will you need to succeed?
Minimum of 3 years of experience in XD research or strategy, UX research and design, quantitative psychology fields, behavioural economics, or similar
Degree or comparable training in a related field
Experience with user testing, survey, and analysis tools like UserTesting, Qualtrics, Medallia, Adobe Analytics or similar (strongly preferred). Experience with Tableau or similar an asset.
Experience partnering with diverse clients and departments within a team environment. Agency / consulting experience an asset
Experience / comfort working within a large organization and with globally diverse teams
Experience ranging across multiple digital channels (web, mobile, social) an asset
