Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead with 10 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Werum PAS-X and a strong background in Cheminformatics and Bioinformatics. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can manage testing processes efficiently and ensure high-quality deliverables. The position operates during day shifts with no travel required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the testing efforts for projects involving Werum PAS-X ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards.
• Oversee the development and execution of test plans and test cases for cheminformatics and bioinformatics applications.
• Provide guidance and support to the testing team fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes within the project lifecycle.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders highlighting any issues and recommending solutions.
• Develop and implement testing strategies that align with industry best practices and company objectives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards throughout the testing process.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand project requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
• Monitor and track testing progress identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Utilize automated testing tools to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the testing team promoting innovation and excellence.
• Manage defect tracking and resolution processes ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.

• Support the deployment of software releases ensuring all testing activities are completed successfully. Qualifications

• Possess a deep understanding of Werum PAS-X and its application in testing environments.
• Demonstrate expertise in cheminformatics and bioinformatics with the ability to apply this knowledge in testing scenarios.
• Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Show proficiency in automated testing tools and methodologies.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
• Display a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
• Hold a relevant degree in computer science bioinformatics or a related field.
