Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development support to Senior Programmers, Programmer Analysts, and Business Analysts

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of processes and technology projects, from intake through implementation

  • Develop and recommend technical solution options, including data and system architecture, to support new applications and business processes

  • Coordinate, track, and review team deliverables to ensure alignment with cost, quality, and timeline expectations

  • Manage intake of requests, formalize requirements, and define structured plans of action

  • Provide system design and development expertise to support creation and enhancement of applications

  • Support and contribute to Corporate IT initiatives and enterprise-wide projects

  • Ensure systems and technologies remain current and compliant with Corporate IT standards

  • Communicate effectively with IT, Supply Chain, and business stakeholders to deliver defined outcomes

  • Provide regular updates to Manager and Leadership, including risk identification and recommended mitigation actions

  • Support performance management through feedback and the annual review process

  • Act as primary technical liaison with external partners and vendors on corporately sponsored initiatives

  • Leverage cross-functional Supply Chain and CTR knowledge to deliver effective, scalable technology solutions

  • Provide second-level escalation support for technical issues as required

  • Prioritize and manage competing demands while maintaining alignment with long-term strategic objectives

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline

  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain processes and retail operations

  • 4–10 years of experience in technology development and delivery

  • Minimum 3 years of leadership or team management experience

  • Proven experience with SDLC processes, including design, development, testing, and implementation

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional system and application development projects

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders

  • Self-motivated, collaborative team player with a continuous learning mindset

  • Experience with Data Warehouse environments considered an asset

  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools and processes (e.g., Power BI)

  • Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Netezza

Development & Programming

  • C#, ASP.NET Core, SQL, T-SQL

  • JavaScript, PowerShell, HTML, XML

DevOps & Delivery Tools

  • Git, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins

Productivity & Business Tools

  • Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio

Advanced Analytics & AI (Asset)

  • Databricks, Azure Synapse, PySpark

Enterprise & Supply Chain Systems (Asset)

  • Warehouse/ERP systems such as Manhattan, JDA, SAP

Our typical hiring range is between $64,000 and $85,000. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
