Adecco is currently hiring a Supply Chain Specialist for a full-time 24-month contract opportunity in Ajax. This role is ideal for an experienced supply chain professional who enjoys managing supplier performance, coordinating material planning activities, and supporting complex manufacturing operations within a fast-paced aerospace or high-tech environment. In this position, you will oversee supplier coordination, purchasing, delivery management, inventory planning, and SAP-related activities while ensuring operational efficiency, quality compliance, and alignment between supply and demand.
Salary: $30.00 to $33.00 per hour
Location: Ajax, ON
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Responsibilities
Perform monthly reconciliation and consolidation activities for supplier performance and reporting
Conduct supplier visits for crisis management, quality reviews, and delivery performance support
Manage NCRs, concessions, quarantine processes, and non-conforming product returns
Review supplier schedules, obtain delivery commitments, and update SAP with supplier commitments
Issue and manage purchase orders in alignment with inventory and stock targets
Manage exception messages and rescheduling activities to align supply and demand requirements
Provide delivery updates for LOB and LRU requirements
Support sales order management including demand changes and MPS updates
Lead “Amber” level escalation activities and coordinate supplier recovery plans
Manage shortages and monitor supplier logistics performance metrics
Participate in supplier performance reviews and program reviews
Support configuration changes and RFDC change management activities
Provide support for un-receivables, receiving inspection, and invoice resolution processes
Maintain and update SAP material master data including lead times, buyer codes, safety times, and batch sizes
Support LEA activities, updated parts lists, and COSA management
Coordinate raw material sales and Notice of Escape management activities
Support supply chain harmonization requests and quality improvement plans
Assist with industrialization support, business improvement projects, and lean initiatives
Support Rate Readiness Assessments and supplier audits as required
Manage SAP contract updates including pricing, purchase orders, inventory adjustments, and part setup
Prepare documentation and support activities related to customer PRA reviews
Qualifications
Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
University degree or college diploma in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field
PMAC certification is considered an asset
Minimum 3 to 5 years of Supply Chain Management experience within aerospace manufacturing or a high-tech environment
Strong knowledge of SAP systems and manufacturing processes
Experience within landing gear or aerospace manufacturing environments is considered an asset
Ability to interpret blueprints and technical specifications
Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in deadline-driven environments
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset
