Key Responsibilities

 

  • Delivering the portfolio’s revenue objectives and profitability (EBITDA) objectives, including forecasting and managing demand
  • Developing the product roadmap, the functionality required to win in the marketplace while optimizing operating cost and ROI for the company
  • Sponsoring product development through ideation, funding, design, execution, and business case development
  • Set and manage pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
  • Work with marketing to develop value propositions, sales tools and collateral
  • Conduct competitive reviews and monitor industry developments to effectively develop a product roadmap
  • Supporting marketing & sales enablement programs to ensure financial objectives are met
  • Coach & mentor non-direct reports (project team members)
  • Engage with stakeholders at different levels internally to manage the development program (i.e. technology, IT, leadership, etc.)
  • Partner with the Marketing team and Security Product Team Lead to develop a compelling positioning, messaging and competitive differentiation for related product offerings
  • Effectively communicate our unique selling proposition to sales teams, partners and customers
  • Key contributing member for security RFP responses
  • Program Management
  • Deal, Sales, Order Operations, Delivery, Network/Field Operations Support
  • Escalation Management for issues within their portfolio
  • Drive innovation and simplicity - ability to identify opportunities and drive improvements, standardization, and enablers to improve product experience.

Critical Qualifications

 

  • Product Management experience with network security and/or cloud security products and solutions, with particular experience with Mobility Security Solutions and IoT security a definite asset
  • Product Management / Owner or Business Development experience with some or all of the following products and services – Firewalls, Intusion Prevention, DDoS, SASE, Firewalls
  • High energy, proactive and self-motivated, successful leading, and working across a matrix organization
  • Understands the difference between cloud-based and network-based services
  • P&L experience is desirable.
  • Strategic thinking and creative problem solving
  • Experience in business case development
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results
  • Ability to foster innovation and drive change
  • Excel at presentations to internal audiences at various organizational levels
  • Ambitious and passionate, always seeking new opportunities and removing obstacles
  • Passion for growth and the customer experience
  • Ability to leverage financial data, analytics, and quantitative methods to inform and influence decision-making
  • Manage project financials including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking of costs.
  • Understands network and security architecture concepts
  • Excellent verbal communication, presentation skills, and writing proficiency
  • Proactive individual, successfully leading, and working within virtual teams
  • Ability to foster innovation and drive change
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and rapid change

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • 5+ years of experience in product management/development; experience in security product management is an asset
  • Working knowledge of Scrum and Agile principles is an asset.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science or relevant experience
  • Project Management experience
  • Bilingualism in French and English would be a strong asset
