Your Role in Supporting Our Members: 

 As a Sr. Manager, Regulatory Strategy & Innovation, you will lead the development and execution of regulatory compliance strategy for Vancity’s digital banking initiatives, translating complex OSFI and FCAC requirements into scalable, technology-enabled solutions. You will partner across product, technology, operations, and business teams to embed compliance into a modern digital banking platform, while driving innovation through automation, AI, and regtech solutions. This role is ideal for a strategic, forward-thinking compliance leader with deep regulatory expertise, digital banking experience, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in a rapidly evolving environment. 

This is a Full-time, Permanent role based at our Vancity head office and will report directly to the VP, Enterprise Regulatory Compliance. While this position provides a hybrid work arrangement, you will be expected to be on-site for events and business demands.

How You'll Make an Impact: 

• Leading the development of regulatory compliance strategy for digital banking initiatives aligned with OSFI and FCAC requirements 

• Translating regulatory requirements into scalable business, product, and technology design solutions 

• Serving as a subject matter expert on prudential and consumer protection expectations in digital banking and fintech environments 

• Partnering with product, technology, operations, and legal teams to embed compliance into the operating model and platform design 

• Supporting regulator engagement activities including preparation, interpretation alignment, and response coordination 

• Identifying and implementing innovative, technology-enabled solutions including AI, automation, and regtech tools 

• Driving compliance scalability, monitoring, and execution through modernized processes and systems
