Adecco in partnership with our client are hiring a dedicated and compassionate Speech‑Language Pathologist to join their multidisciplinary healthcare team. You should be a clinically strong, patient‑centred professional who is committed to delivering high‑quality assessment and therapy services to individuals with communication, speech, language, cognitive‑communication, or swallowing disorders.

This role is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who values collaboration, autonomy in clinical decision‑making, and working in a supportive environment that prioritizes patient outcomes, evidence‑based practice, and professional excellence.

  • Pay Rate: $90k/annually

  • Location: Toronto, ON

  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:

Clinical Care

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments for speech, language, communication, voice, fluency, and/or swallowing disorders

  • Develop individualized treatment plans grounded in evidence‑based practice

  • Provide one‑on‑one or group therapy to support targeted communication and swallowing goals

  • Document assessments, treatment progress, and clinical findings accurately and promptly

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work collaboratively with physicians, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, educators, and other members of the interdisciplinary team

  • Communicate complex clinical information clearly and compassionately to patients, families, and caregivers

  • Participate in case discussions, care planning, and coordinated treatment approaches

Professional Standards

  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory, ethical, and privacy standards

  • Engage in ongoing learning and professional development to maintain clinical competency

  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and support best‑practice service delivery

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology

  • Current registration and good standing with CASLPO (College of Audiologists and Speech‑Language Pathologists of Ontario) or applicable provincial regulatory body

  • Previous clinical experience working with pediatric and/or adult populations (setting‑specific)

  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills across communication and swallowing domains

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a patient‑centered approach to care

  • Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative clinical environment

  • Strong organization, documentation, and time‑management abilities

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

Preferred Assets:

  • Experience in any of the following areas:

o    Early intervention

o    AAC (Augmentative & Alternative Communication)

o    Dysphagia management

o    Cognitive‑communication disorders

o    Voice and fluency therapy

  • Comfort using EMR/EHR systems
