The Master of Public Policy Program invites applications for the following teaching position in the 2026-27 session:

PUBPOL 758: Stakeholder Management 

This course provides students with an understanding of how stakeholder engagement informs government policy. Using case studies, it will unpack how the public engages with government through formal and informal consultation, how regulatory processes require stakeholder involvement (particularly in development and infrastructure) and how systems enhance or inhibit the ability for regular people to see themselves reflected in government policy.

Applicants should have a mix of academic knowledge, practical experience, and applied expertise on public consultation and participatory democracy. We welcome applicants with demonstrated roles in an industry that has required extensive stakeholder engagement, and/or as subject matter expertise through relevant research and through leadership. Previous teaching and training experience is a plus but not required. The Faculty of Social Sciences and MPP have significant strengths in the areas of research, teaching and mentorship and the successful candidate will reflect a similar level of excellence in these areas. 

The incumbent will be appointed at the appropriate rank with the MPP, located on the main university campus to begin January 2027.
