MPP invites applications for the following teaching position in the 2026-27 session:
PUBPOL 707: Architectures of Digital Ecosystems
This course provides a technical overview of a selection of key digital technologies intended to provide students with a working knowledge as to how these technologies work and their resultant policy implications. Topics include Internet Protocols, Artificial Intelligence, blockchain and cryptocurrency, cloud and quantum computing, social media platforms, programmatic advertising, and biotechnology.
The successful candidate will have a track record of research and teaching appointments at the rank commensurate with an Adjunct Professor, Associate Professor or Professor of Practice.
Applicants must have an area of specialization in digital transformation, technologies, and policy development, and a track record of research in their area of specialization with evidence of interdisciplinary research. Practical experience in the private or public sectors is an asset. The Faculty of Social Sciences and MPP have significant strengths in the areas of research, teaching and mentorship. The successful applicant will teach at graduate level and have a demonstrated track record of excellent teaching.
The incumbent will be appointed at the appropriate rank with MPP located on the main university campus to begin on September 1, 2026.
