Course Description/Relevant Employment Duties:
An examination of the pathophysiology of cardiovascular disease and evidence-based guidelines for its diagnosis, management, and rehabilitation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching lectures and organizing labs for the course (lab duties can be covered by TAs if they are appropriately trained by instructor). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing course materials; however, the previous course instructor will make available their course materials (e.g., lecture notes, presentation slides, etc.) should the candidate wish to refer to them.
Required Qualifications:
PhD (preferred) in Kinesiology or related discipline with expertise in clinical cardiovascular physiology and experience in the construction and delivery of undergraduate courses related to the pathophysiology, diagnosis, management, and rehabilitation of cardiovascular diseases.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in the instruction of similar course material.

*Supplemented Fees- 15.02(a) The employee may be eligible to receive supplemented fees in accordance with Schedule C of the Collective Agreement. The actual rate of pay when in excess of the base rate of pay is deemed to include any supplemented fees owing, to the extent of the excess amount. If the actual rate of pay is less than the sum of the base rate of pay and the supplemented fees owing, then the employee shall receive the difference.
