Adecco is currently hiring a Senior Enterprise Information Architect / Data Leader for a major organization supporting enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on shaping information strategy, governance, and enterprise data architecture across the organization.

This opportunity is ideal for a senior data professional with deep expertise in information architecture, data modeling, and enterprise data governance, who is passionate about enabling data-driven decision-making at scale.

  • Salary: $120,000 – $160,000

  • Location: Ottawa or Toronto (Hybrid – 3 days on site)

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

  • Job Type: Full-time | Temporary | 1.5-year contract

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the Enterprise Information Management (EIM) framework to support enterprise data strategy

  • Design and maintain conceptual business information models that define the organization’s future-state information landscape

  • Define and implement metamodels, taxonomies, and ontologies to support enterprise data assets

  • Maintain enterprise data repositories including data sources, structures, business glossary, classification, and relationships

  • Support the development and implementation of information governance processes in collaboration with data, business, and IT leaders

  • Establish and maintain the strategic direction for enterprise information management

  • Translate complex information architecture concepts into clear, business-focused briefings for stakeholders

  • Lead discovery sessions with business stakeholders to understand data objectives, challenges, and requirements

  • Define and maintain the enterprise information management roadmap aligned with digital transformation goals

  • Promote discoverability and self-service access to enterprise information assets

  • Support enterprise data architecture decisions and solution recommendations

  • Mentor data architects and promote consistency in data practices across the organization

  • Act as a champion for digital transformation, promoting data-driven culture and innovation

  • Drive collaboration, knowledge sharing, and best practices across business and technology teams

  • Support continuous improvement of data standards, processes, and governance frameworks

  • Stay current with emerging data technologies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada

  • 10+ years of experience in senior data architecture, information architecture, or enterprise data leadership roles

  • Strong expertise in data modeling, information classification, and enterprise data architecture frameworks

  • Extensive experience with metamodels, taxonomies, ontologies, and enterprise information structures

  • Experience developing and implementing enterprise-wide data governance strategies

  • Strong business acumen with ability to translate data strategy into business value and outcomes

  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams across business, technology, and operations

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Experience in assessing business, financial, and operational impacts of data initiatives

  • Experience with TOGAF framework

  • MBA or equivalent advanced business education

  • Experience working in unionized environments
