Broadridge has an exciting opening for a Senior Director, Wealth Technology (Corporate Actions), North America. This role will provide vision and leadership for all areas of technical design, development and delivery of Broadridge’s Corporate Actions and Income Processing Business. They will report to the Head of Corporate Actions Technology.
The role demands a strong people leader who understands how to deliver a quality end to end services to financial institutions. The candidate must have excellent communication skills and strong commercial awareness.
The Senior Director, Wealth Technology (Corporate Actions) will direct the overall software development lifecycle related to Corporate Actions solutions offered to the North American Market. A key part of the role will be to coordinate with the rest of the technology team in the UK, India and Singapore. In addition, they will work with Broadridge Management to develop and implement the technology roadmap in support of the Corporate Actions Solution to improve cost effectiveness, service quality, and mission development.
They will help drive our agile maturity within the business unit and will build/maintain a high performing team
Job Description
Provide leadership, guidance, mentoring and career development to a multidisciplinary team of Development staff, QA staff and Delivery Managers
Act as the senior management liaison between Technology and the rest of the Wealth business unit (Product Management, Conversions, Programme Management, Corporate Actions General Manager, President of Wealth)
Work with senior leadership to ensure that resource allocation is optimized towards achieving the business units short term goals while still allowing capacity to focus on longer term objectives
Ensure that the technology roadmap is aligned with the wider Broadridge Technology strategy. Act as an advocate both internally and externally for the technology roadmap.
Continuing with the existing process improvements journey to improve the agility and robustness of the SDLC, aligning with Broadridge’s emerging best practices
Provides technical leadership and guidance on software development tools, application architecture, technology, application security and optimal development methodologies.
Ensure that the quality of the product and the delivery meet the ever-improving standards set by the senior leadership team
Work with the product team to identify and assess new opportunities in the market.
Work with the platform engineering team to improve automation and DevOps capabilities
Further improve our testing and quality capabilities through increased automation
Requirements
Must Have: Experience managing software development and delivery in the Financial Services domain
Desirable: Experience managing software development and delivery for Transaction Processing or Corporate Actions Processing systems

Compensation
Salary Range: CAD $160,000- $180,000 . Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location
