A career as a Senior Advisor in third Party Governance in the residential financing team at National Bank means acting as a specialist in governance, accreditation and strategic management of external partners. This position allows you to have a concrete impact on the organisation's performance, compliance and value creation thanks to your expertise in governance, contract management and complex business relationships.

Your job

  • Oversee cross-sector governance of third parties and external partners in the sector, including the mortgage brokerage network
  • Serve as an expert resource in governance and accreditation by guiding, supporting and aligning practises, without formal management responsibilities
  • Manage the life cycle of contractual agreements, from analysis to performance, integrating risk, compliance and value dimensions
  • Advise management and internal stakeholders by making strategic recommendations and representing the sector in governance bodies
  • Optimize the performance of the partner portfolio through ongoing evaluation mechanisms, clear indicators and improvement strategies
  • Coordinate governance forums and ensure primary liaison with external partners under your responsibility

Your team

You are part of a team of six colleagues in the Accreditation and third-Party Governance, residential financing sector and report to a Senior Manager, Retail financing. The team stands out for its high level of expertise, sense of partnership, agility and commitment to continuous improvement. Prerequisites

  • Hold a relevant degree and have five to seven years of relevant experience.
  • In-depth experience in third-party governance, contract management and risk management
  • Significant experience in an advisory role with management or strategic partners
  • Master the practises, processes and tools related to performance management of external partners
  • Have a good understanding of the banking sector and its regulatory framework
