TMX Datalinx is seeking a Junior Relationship Manager to support and grow relationships with small to mid-sized accounts across Canada and the United States. Based in Toronto, this role is ideal for a motivated early-career professional with strong communication skills, a client-focused mindset, and a desire to learn about the evolving world of financial data.

The role will maintain and strengthen client relationships by supporting their engagement with TMX Datalinx products and services. You will play a key role in identifying client needs, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring a high-quality experience across a diverse book of accounts. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of data solutions, including:

  • Canadian real-time and delayed market data feeds

  • Equities and derivatives market microstructure analytics

  • Historical and reference data for fixed income and equity markets

  • Global benchmarks, indices, ESG data, and corporate event datasets

You will work closely with Sales Specialists who support more complex or high-touch accounts, and collaborate across internal teams including Product, Operations, and Client Services.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop a solid understanding of the structure and business priorities of assigned small to mid-sized accounts within the TMX Datalinx Canadian and US client base.

  • Maintain and nurture existing client relationships by providing a high level of client service and proactively identifying opportunities for product education and engagement.

  • Assist in identifying client needs and areas where TMX Datalinx products can add value, in collaboration with senior Sales Specialists.

  • Support account planning and client outreach activities as directed by senior team members or the VP, Global Sales & Client Management.

  • Help execute account management initiatives, including product updates, usage reviews, and follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

  • Conduct regular virtual or in-person client check-ins to gather feedback, provide product information, and foster stronger relationships.

  • Collaborate with Sales Specialists, Product Managers, and Contract Analysts to ensure timely and effective client support and communication.

Must haves:

  • 1–3 years of experience in a client-facing role, preferably within financial services, technology, or data-related industries.

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and maintain ongoing client engagement.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate product value and address client questions.

  • Highly organized with good attention to detail and follow-through.

  • A self-starter with a service-oriented mindset and willingness to learn from senior colleagues.

Nice to haves:

  • Exposure to market data, financial technology, or analytics platforms.

  • ​Experience supporting buy-side or sell-side institutions in any capacity.

  • ​Basic understanding of the North American financial ecosystem and capital markets.

  • Familiarity with CRM tools and account tracking software (e.g., Salesforce).
