Adecco is currently hiring full-time motivated and safety-conscious Reach Forklift Operators to join our client's fast-paced warehouse and distribution team. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced forklift operators who thrive in a high-volume environment and are committed to accuracy, efficiency, and workplace safety.

  • Pay Rate: $21.00/hour and up to $22.50 after training period

  • Location: Halifax, NS

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate Crown Reach and/or Raymond Reach forklifts to pick, place, retrieve, and store pallets at various racking heights

  • Transport, stage, and organize materials throughout the warehouse

  • Perform accurate put-away, replenishment, stock rotation, and inventory movement

  • Use RF scanners and pick lists to locate, scan, and process inventory and customer orders

  • Pick, pack, and prepare outbound shipments with a high level of accuracy

  • Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment activities

  • Load and unload trailers while ensuring products are properly secured

  • Complete daily forklift inspections and report any equipment concerns

  • Follow all company safety standards, warehouse procedures, and PPE requirements

  • Maintain awareness of pedestrians, equipment traffic, and warehouse hazards

  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and efficient

  • Support shipping, receiving, and general warehouse operations as required

  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity and performance goals

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid Crown Reach Forklift Certification required

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating reach trucks and/or order picker forklifts

  • Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience

  • Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems is an asset

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet throughout the shift

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling inventory

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

  • Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated

  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and safe equipment operation

  • Ability to meet productivity targets and key performance metrics (KPIs)

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
