Adecco is currently hiring a Program Supervisor for a full-time opportunity. This role is ideal for a strong leader with experience in production environments who enjoys overseeing operations, leading teams, and ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across programs.

In this position, you will lead a production team responsible for the manufacturing and shipment of track-related products. You will oversee scheduling, staffing, and operational execution while ensuring performance targets are met and safety standards are upheld. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in dynamic environments and can manage multiple priorities across various locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise unionized production teams to ensure safe and efficient operations

• Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to improve team effectiveness

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability

• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding product requirements, schedules, and shipments

• Coordinate and oversee the full production cycle including planning, scheduling, staffing, inventory, and shipping

• Ensure production processes are cost-effective and meet delivery timelines

• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for safety and quality

• Monitor and ensure key performance indicators related to safety, quality, and efficiency are achieved

• Inspect major track work to ensure compliance with applicable standards

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada

• Minimum 2 years of experience supervising or coordinating production operations in a unionized environment

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

• Valid driver’s license

• Valid rail operating rules certification (CROR) is required

• First Aid and CPR certification

• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• Ability to work collaboratively and lead by example in safety and performance

Technical Skills / Assets

• Knowledge of track standards, drawings, and maintenance practices

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Experience or ability to learn systems such as SAP, payroll, and production planning tools

• Interest in learning additional operational systems and applications

• Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset
