PEPSICO BEVERAGES CANADA - Full-Time Millwright Mechanic

 

The Role:

The Millwright Mechanic will be responsible for repair and troubleshooting of our food production equipment with continued attention to preventative maintenance. Compensation:  

  • This is a full-time position that requires open availability including weekends. 
  • $40.00 per hour with full-time hours and overtime opportunities

Responsibilities

  • The Millwright Mechanic will be responsible for repair and troubleshooting of our food production equipment with continued attention to preventative maintenance.  
  • Welding, machining, ammonia refrigeration, hydraulics, pneumatics, plastics manufacturing, material handling, PLC, etc. 

Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age 
  • Red Seal Industrial Mechanic Millwright certificate 
  • 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate is an asset 
  • Minimum of one-year previous electrical experience in a food plant environment 
  • Strong mechanical background 
  • Must be able to read and write English as there is possibility of severe injury to self or others due to nature of work 
  • Familiar with the safe operation of hand tools 
  • Team player who shows initiative, reliability and flexibility 
  • Must be able to work with minimal amount of supervision in a fast-paced environment
