With the focus on critical care nursing in the intensive care area, students will further develop, critically analyze, and apply knowledge gained in previous courses with a focus on the management of critically ill clients. Emphasis includes working with clients across the lifespan and inter-professional relationships and collaborative management within specialty practice.

- Online delivery asynchronously, equivalent to 3 h/week for 7 weeks
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Development of teaching and learning activities related to course-specific topics that align with current trends in healthcare practices
- Review and revise all course materials and assessments to align with current educational pedagogies that include universal design of learning and active learning strategies.
- Introduce current and relevant trends in oncology health care practices.
- Hold weekly virtual office hours and follow up with students as necessary
- Liaise with the Associate Directors, Undergraduate Studies Academic and Student Affairs for initial instruction, orientation and as needed.
- Delivery, assessment, evaluation, and co-ordination of the course using the Brightspace Learning Management System
- Participation in semester meetings and course discussions within the program
- Develop and administer course evaluations, incl. assessments and exams
- Submission of grades
