Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Transportation Training & Development Officer to support field operations and ensure employees are trained to meet safety and regulatory standards. This role is ideal for an experienced railway professional passionate about safety, coaching, and employee development.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate employee performance and ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards
  • Deliver in-field training (e.g., remote control operations, switching, field programs)
  • Mentor and support employee development and onboarding
  • Manage certifications, qualifications, and LMS training records
  • Support recruitment and onboarding with Talent Acquisition
  • Participate in safety audits, observations, and training initiatives
  • Maintain training materials, equipment, and job aids
Qualifications and Skills:
  • 5+ years of railway experience (e.g., Conductor, Locomotive Engineer, Remote Control Operator)
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, and promoting safety leadership
  • High School Diploma or GED and valid driver’s license
  • Strong knowledge of rail operations and safety practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

Working Conditions
  • Combination of field and office work in various weather conditions
  • Irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Travel required (up to 50%)
