Adecco is currently hiring a Mechanical Assembler for a full-time opportunity. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, operating equipment, and contributing to a fast-paced production environment.

If you’re detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working with tools, machines, and systems, this is a great opportunity to build your experience in manufacturing and assembly operations.

  • Salary: $19/hour

  • Location: Kanata, ON

  • Schedule: Set schedule (details to be confirmed)

  • Employment Type: Full-time | Temporary

  • Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components according to drawings, procedures, and process documentation

  • Operate manufacturing equipment based on defined schedules and processes

  • Use pneumatic tools, hand tools, and equipment for assembly tasks

  • Support the Team Lead with daily production activities

  • Identify, communicate, and escalate technical issues while assisting with data collection

  • Perform computer transactions using systems such as SFDC, Agile, and Excel

  • Ensure printed labels are accurate and correctly assigned to production orders

  • Follow all safety procedures and performance standards

  • Maintain inventory control, including cycle counting and system updates

  • Apply engineering change orders (ECOs) and other work instructions

  • Support additional operational or production requirements as needed

  • Work with machinery and robotic equipment where applicable

Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada

  • Mechanical aptitude and interest in manufacturing or assembly work

  • Experience using hand tools and pneumatic equipment

  • Comfortable working with computers and production systems (Excel, ERP, etc.)

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

  • Ability to identify issues and communicate effectively with team members

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an asset

  • Familiarity with machine or robotics operations is an asset
