Adecco is currently hiring a Mechanical Assembler for a full-time opportunity in Ottawa, ON. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components according to technical drawings and procedures while maintaining high-quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and thrives in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

  • Salary: $19/hr plus shift premium if applicable

  • Location: Ottawa, ON

  • Job Type: Full-time | Temporary

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday

Key responsibilities:

  • Assemble components according to specific drawings, procedures, and process documentation

  • Operate various manufacturing equipment following documented processes and defined schedules

  • Use pneumatic and hand tools for assembly and provide assistance to the Team Lead when needed

  • Identify and escalate technical issues, assisting with information gathering for Technical Support

  • Perform computer transactions using software such as SFDC, Agile, and Excel

  • Verify printed labels for accuracy and ensure proper tracking to the correct planned order

  • Follow all established safety procedures and performance standards

  • Execute inventory control tasks, including cycle counting and system updates

  • Apply Engineering Change Orders (ECO) modifications or other instructions as required

  • Support additional company requirements as needed

Qualifications:

  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada

  • Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a related manufacturing role

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation

  • Experience using pneumatic and hand tools

  • Familiarity with inventory systems or software (e.g., SFDC, Agile, Excel)

  • Strong attention to detail and quality

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
