As a Manager – Campus Recruitment in the Capital Markets Business Strategy team at National Bank, you are accountable for the strategic design, governance and evolution of campus recruitment and internship programs for the sector. You will act as a strategic advisor and partner to business leaders and key stakeholders, while overseeing the teams and frameworks that support end-to-end execution. This position offers a unique opportunity to have a positive impact on the organization.

 
Your Job
  • Define and evolve the long-term vision and approach to early-career recruiting for the sector, ensuring alignment with Capital Markets’ business priorities, talent needs, and brand positioning
  • Establish scalable, high-impact programs that strengthen National Bank Capital Markets’ talent pipeline, reputation, and competitiveness.
  • Provide strategic leadership and governance over internship and campus recruitment programs, including performance metrics, budgets, and process standards
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, influencing decisions across Capital Markets, Human Resources, Communications, and related partners
  • Drive continuous improvement by leveraging data, market intelligence, and stakeholder feedback to optimize recruitment outcomes
  • Lead, coach, and develop the campus recruitment team, setting priorities, allocating resources, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence

Your Team

This role is based in Toronto, within the Capital Markets Business Strategy team. You will report to the Vice President, Business Strategy – Capital Markets, and lead a team responsible for the operational execution of campus recruitment. The position requires four days per week in the office.

Our training programs use on-the-job learning to help you master your role. You can access personalized training content to support your ongoing learning. You’ll also have access to colleagues with a wide range of expertise, experience, and backgrounds to enrich all aspects of your development.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience in program management, including the design, execution, and governance, ideally within campus recruitment campus
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a team, including setting priorities, managing performance, and fostering a collaborative, high performance culture
  • Experience in Capital Markets or a financial services environment is considered a strong asset
  • Strong ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and consistently meet tight and cyclical recruitment timelines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong attention to detail, organizational discipline, and a proactive, solutions oriented mindset
  • High level of agility and adaptability, with the ability to operate in a fast changing, complex stakeholder environment
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
