Are you an experienced tradesperson that is looking to safely, timely and cost effectively execute maintenance related activities? Then we have a role for you!We are looking to hire a Maintenance Coordinator at our Syncrude site in Fort McMurray. In this role, you will monitor contractor performance, promote safety initiatives, and ensure jobs are executed in accordance with job plan / schedule.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5 years maintenance trade experience
- Alberta Journeyman Ticket or Interprovincial Red Seal
- A planning background in Maintenance would be an asset.
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Responsibilities:
- Communicate daily work strategy providing direction to contractors and ensure jobs are executed in accordance with job plan / schedule.
- Assist with sequencing scheduling timelines, procuring / confirming materials on outages and break ins.
- Provide updates on outages and break ins.
- Participate in maintenance related incidents and implementing findings.
- Manage multi-disciplinary jobs in the repair, adjustment, modification, removal and/or installation of plant equipment and facilities and ensure the integrity of work execution.
Location and other key details:
- You will work out of our Syncrude Aurora site in Fort McMurray, Alberta
- The shift schedule is a 6 days on / 6 days off rotation;12-hour shifts. May be required to work in night shift based on business need
- This position is safety sensitive
